Don’t miss out on this unique performance, which will be presented by FRIGID New York at the Chain Theatre in New York City.

About EXES: The Musical
EXES: The Musical is an intimate rock opera that dives deep into Deegie’s personal diary, sharing a song for each of her exes. With raw emotion and powerful lyrics, the show explores the highs and lows of relationships, from the fairytale myths of love to the harsh realities of emotional repression, casual dating, and societal pressures. The musical reflects on how these experiences shaped Deegie as she came of age, revealing the complex impact these relationships have on women.
Each song in the show represents a different chapter in Deegie’s love life, from the men who were never interested in anything serious to the ones who held on too tightly. Through these songs, Deegie examines memory, accountability, and the lessons learned over time.

Creative team behind the show
Deegie is not alone in bringing this powerful performance to life. The creative team includes director Olivia Facini, lighting designer Christina See (known for her work on Only Murders in the Building and Succession), and musical director Joseph Lewczak.
Deegie’s bold and empowering energy
Deegie is known for her emotional directness and bold energy. Her music and performances have inspired people to ask, “What makes you so angry?” There’s something about a woman who is unapologetically raw, bold, and fierce that makes some uncomfortable – but Deegie’s mission is to shine a spotlight on these uncomfortable truths. With a pop-punk sound similar to Olivia Rodrigo or Avril Lavigne, Deegie’s music delivers anthemic melodies paired with gut-punching lyrics.
In addition to EXES: The Musical, Deegie released an EP called EXES, featuring songs about her ex-boyfriends, each one named after a different person from her past. She debuted EXES: The Musical at The Hudson Theatre in Los Angeles in October 2024, and now, she’s bringing the show to New York City for an even bigger audience. Deegie is also currently working on her forthcoming EP, Feminism 101, which will document the experiences of women in a man’s world.
